MEV is a big problem on Solana as we all know. Getting sandwiched between frontrunning trades is not nice. However, Jito Labs recently , making MEV much harder for bots to do.

We developed our own in-house algorithm for MEV detection, which in some cases helped, but it also delayed transactions a lot. As many senior devs on Solana have repeatedly said that you , and that no MEV protection will 100% protect you, we decided not to confuse users with any false promises of "MEV protection".

We strongly recommend you set a sensible slippage amount to avoid being leeched by MEV bots that are still roaming out there!
